What we collect, and why

The only personal information we collect is what you type into one of our forms — the retreat mailing list, the contact form, the newsletter sign-up, a session request, or the text sign-up. Depending on the form, that is your first name, last name, email address, phone number, organization, and the details of what you asked for. We use it to do the thing you asked: put you on the retreat mailing list, answer your message, send you the newsletter, or plan and quote your session.

Each form also records how you reached us: the first page you visited, the page the form was on, the referring site and any campaign tags or ad click identifiers in the link you followed (for example a Facebook ad or a QR code on a flyer). Your browser keeps this only until you close the tab — it is not a cookie.

Where it is kept

Form submissions are stored on our own systems, which we use to keep track of your messages, your consent and event updates. We keep your information until you ask us to delete it.

Email

We send email through a transactional email service. When you join the retreat mailing list you receive a welcome email; when you contact us you receive an acknowledgement; and we email ourselves a copy of every form so we can respond.

Marketing email — retreat updates, newsletter issues — is only sent if you ticked the box asking for it. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link; one click and it stops. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us using any of the methods on this site.

Sharing with event partners

Some events may be run together with a partner. If — and only if — you tick the box asking for updates about future retreats and wellness experiences, your first name, email address and the date you opted in may be shared with that partner so you can receive event and related updates. Nothing else is shared. If you later unsubscribe, you are removed from that shared list.

We never share your phone number or your text-message consent with a partner.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us a mobile number and tick the text-message box, we text you at that number: replies to your questions and requests, and confirmations and reminders for events you sign up for. Occasional marketing texts about events, retreats and offers go only to people who signed up for them on our text sign-up page. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Saying yes to email never signs you up for texts.

SMS opt-in data and SMS consent will not be shared with any third parties. SMS opt-in data, mobile phone numbers, and SMS consent will not be sold to third parties or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us; you’ll get one confirmation. Reply START to turn them back on, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of any purchase. The full terms are in our SMS Terms.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information, and we do not share it except as described above.
• We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tags on this site.
• We do not run comments, user accounts or a shop.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Unsubscribe from marketing via the link in any email or by contacting us. To do any of this, use the contact form, email [email protected], or call (602) 888-0373.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
